The aim of the QUA DEMOS project is to qualify the suitability of new metallic materials for use as stent material in terms of medical, biological and technical suitability. For this purpose, the implant-relevant properties are adjusted and, above all, the biocompatibility is specifically tested in vitro and in vivo. The proof of usability is the basis and necessary requirement for the transfer to clinical testing and utilization.
