The AERO Drones is part of the AERO Ludwigshafen and since its conceptual realignment in 2019, has become one of the most important trade fairs for UAV applications in Europe.

The focus is on the use of drones by public authorities and organizations with security tasks (BOS), counter-drone measures, and the protection of critical infrastructure. Together with the partners, the Baden-Württemberg police and UAV DACH, industry and users across Europe will be brought together in one place. In addition to showcasing an impressive range of innovative technologies and extensive services in the exhibition area, the event emphasizes knowledge transfer through a high-caliber three-day conference program. Topics such as U-Space, aviation safety, and critical infrastructure protection are addressed, complemented by industry presentations on the latest technological developments.
At the heart of AERO Drones is the exchange of experiences and operational knowledge among police, fire departments, and rescue services. The goal is to deepen the network across BOS organizations and further strengthen collaboration between authorities and industry.
